Cut the chicken into pieces, wash well, dry, then put oil in a saucepan and brown the chicken pieces on all sides. 3. Cut the tomatoes into cubes and put them in the same pan in which we browned the meat. We give them a pinch of salt and leave them on the right heat for two minutes to leave their juice. We clean the garlic cloves and chop them with a knife. We also chop the green parsley. After the tomatoes have left the juice, add the garlic and greens, mix and turn off the heat.

4. In a suitable pan, greased with butter, put a layer of cauliflower bunches. Over this layer we evenly add the browned chicken with paprika and green onions.

Put the second layer of cauliflower over the meat. At the end with a spoon, spread the tomato sauce with garlic and greens on top.

5. Bake for 30 minutes and that's it. Those who prefer the traditional combination of cream and egg, specific to the mashed potato, think that, if you prefer, you can replace the tomato sauce.   • 1 onion
  • 200ml sour cream
  • salt, white pepper
  • flour, oil

Finely chop the onion and fry it in a little oil and a tablespoon of water. Add the chopped chicken breast and fry over low heat with a lid. Separately boil the cauliflower dissolved in bouquets in water with a lot of salt. Strain and add the cauliflower to the chicken. The chicken must be cooked when we add the cauliflower.

Separately mix 1 tablespoon of flour with sour cream and a little milk and add over the mixture of meat and cauliflower. Stir gently so as not to crush the cauliflower.

If necessary, add more milk.

Season with salt and pepper and serve with chopped green dill (the one in the picture I took and chopped :).

I recently found out that the vegetable with the greatest anticancer effect is cauliflower, a wonder food that contains vitamins (A, B, C, E, etc.) and magnesium, potassium, chromium, selenium, zinc, etc. I really like pickled cauliflower and we consume it in this form almost all winter, but in cooked food I didn't use it much. So today I decided to present you another option. Let's take advantage of cauliflower this season because it is pure health!

10-12 pieces of chicken wings (or chicken breast)
1/2 medium cauliflower
200 gr tomatoes in their own juice
1/2 glass of white wine
100 ml chicken soup (or water)
2 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon tarragon
salt and pepper to taste

The first step was to boil the wings for 10 minutes. If we use chicken breast, cooking is not necessary and we will brown it directly in the pan. Meanwhile, cut the cauliflower into bouquets, and if they are too large, they can be cut in half or even quarters.

Put the olive oil in a large pan and until it heats up very much, add the sliced ​​garlic. We heat it a little, without it burning.

Meanwhile, boil the cauliflower, no more than 10 minutes, because it softens too much. I like it to be "al dente".
Add the meat to the pan and brown it for 2-3 minutes.

Put the wine over the wings and keep it on the fire until the alcohol evaporates (the wine decreases and no longer has that pungent smell of alcohol). Add the chicken soup and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Add the tomato sauce and leave it on the fire for another 8-10 minutes until it decreases as well. Towards the end we taste, and if the sauce is too sour, we can stabilize the flavors with a teaspoon of sugar. Mix well!

Season to taste with salt and pepper, a little tarragon and add the cauliflower, which has already been cooked.

  • 150 gr butter

  • 200 ml of milk
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 300 gr sour cream (24% fat)
  • salt, pepper to taste

  2. Separately, in another bowl put salted water to boil and when it starts to boil add the bunches of cauliflower and let it boil for about 10 minutes (until the cauliflower is done). (Picture 4)
  3. In a kettle, melt the rest of the butter over which we add the milk and starch. Stir to dissolve the starch. Pour this mixture over the chicken (picture 5).
  4. Add chopped parsley, salt and pepper (picture 6) let it boil for about 5 minutes, then add the boiled and drained cauliflower and let it cook for another 5 minutes. (picture 7).

Cauliflower food with chicken

Because the Easter fast is over, I propose a cauliflower food with chicken, very delicious and does not require much preparation time.

- 1 large chicken, a larger cauliflower, 1-2 onions, 1 tablespoon butter, 1 tablespoon flour, 2 tablespoons sour cream, green parsley and salt and according to preference, pickles or lettuce.

Prepare a rantas from butter and flour that is quenched with water in which the cauliflower was boiled. Mix with sour cream and pour over the chicken. Add salt to taste and simmer for a quarter of an hour.

The sauce should not be very thick and if it drops, it is thinned with a little water in which the cauliflower was boiled. After the taste in the sauce you can add a little lemon juice and don't forget the green parsley.

You can serve it with pickles, sour cucumbers or donuts or with lettuce.
